The star attraction is the barracuda. They hang is massive schools, above reefs . they gather for protection against sharks and other predators.

In the Turks and Caicos Islands in the WEst Indes, the weather is perfect for diving.
The islands have a 200 mile coral reef. It is a top dive site with sharks, turtles,and tropical coral.
The conch(conque) shell has been fished for long time. It is a good source for protein.
Now there is a quota because they are being fished out.
Free divers must dive deeper and deeper to find them..

Diving with Manatees in Florida

In Southern Florida in the everglades you can go swimming with a manatee.
they havedive and manatee tours, when you get in the water you will fall in love with the manatees.
Find some water movement and slip in with the diving gear -wetsuit, snorkel and goggles.
Manatees were thought to be gentle because they had no predator.
They seem genuinely interested in being with humans. Be careful not to annoy or disturb any of the manatees.
Manatees are like dugongs and probably gave rise to mermaid myth.
