Night Skiing! The sun has gone, but you’re still out riding…
Night Skiing started on Tuesday this week and it looks like it will be a regular event from now until the end of the season! With the extra snow cover it proved very popular with visitors. Many guests made a night of it and enjoyed dinner at JAX Bar and Chargrill, located right in front of the slopes. “Riding under lights is great fun and visibility is often better as the contours and the texture of the snow are more pronounced,” says Mick Rowson, Perisher Blue Sales and Guest Experience Manager. Weather permitting the Village Eight Express will be open for night skiing every Tuesday night until 9:30pm. Lights, camera and action…night skiing on Front Valley. (1 July 2008)
